HEAVY RESCUE - 6291

6291 is a 1964 Ford F-800 Heavy Rescue.  It was Refurbished in 1992, with a new diesel 3208 Cat Diesel Engine and Allision Automatic Transmission, Air brakes, among other things. It has a 100 Watt Radio / Repeater mounted in the Cab and a 25 Watt Mobile Radio mounted in the Walkin Compartment to use as a Command Post.  It carries Extrication Equipment (Pump, Cutter, Spreader, Ram, Ram Extension, Two Hose Sets, Air Chiesel with attachments, and a Sawzall with 100ft electric cords), Onboard 12.5KW Diesel Generator with Two Electric Cord Reels, Eight Fixed Flood Lights, Two Mounted Flood Lights, Four Tripod Flood Lights, a Rear Mounted Winch, Two Positive Pressure Ventilation Fans, Two fully stocked BLS medical bags and Two Extra Oxygen Tanks, Backboards, a Four Bottle 4500 PSI Cascade System,  Chainsaw, Chimney Powder, Extension and Fold up Ladder, a Multi-Gas Meter, Traffic Control Signs and Lights, 20+ flashlights, Flares and Cyalume Light Sticks, Chain, as well as other firefighting equipment and tools.  The Primary Use for this Apparatus is to response to Residential, Commercial, and Vehicle Fires, Motor Vehicle Collisions, Landing Zones, Hazardous Materials Incidents, and Rescues. This apparatus is used for mutual-aid upon request.
